Good Morning Beautiful people! Dont forget to enter the Snookemlilies Monogrammed Umbrella giveaway. Today's the last day! I was on twitter last night and it seems as though everyone was watching Honey Boo Boo (including me :/). The only thing positive about the show is that a viewer can really see how much the family loves each other. Its important to have good relationships to your family and when I go back to college I know I am going to miss mine.
Last year I made a photo collage of my friends and family but I didnt really love how it turned out. This year I think im going to go the classic route and buy frames to stick my family's pictures in.
Thats why I was so excited when I got the opportunity to review a Frame from the Dahl House. I chose a Nantucket stripe frame in lavender with brown lettering.
The Dahl House makes hand-painted frames, furniture, and accessories. No two frames are the same! When I was on my search for the perfect frames to display in my dorm room I found it hard to find monogrammed styles that I liked. Many frames out there cater to weddings, births, or other memorable occasions but there isnt much for dorm rooms or just to hang in your house.
The best part about my new The Dahl House frame is the ribbon on the side. Its such a cute detail and the brown outline that results from the ribbon frames the frame so nice!
I was a little worried when I heard that the frame is hand-painted. I cant paint but Ive talked to my artist friends and they have mentioned that letters can be quite difficult to recreate perfectly. Monograms can be the hardest. With all that information I was anxious to see how the monogrammed detailing came out on the frame. The letters are perfect! They are so uniform and perfectly painted.
I wanted to show you some other items from The Dahl House:
I am obsessed with that polka dot trash can. How could you throw away garbage in that pretty thing! In all seriousness I love my new frame and would definitely recommend one from The Dahl House. They would make an excellent gift for someone moving into a new home, going to college, or someone who appreciates nice frames!
Which The Dahl House Frame would you pick?
