Today is officially my first day of classes. I have a very "interesting" schedule this semester with Tuesday/Thursday as my gym and fun class, and MWF with harder and more though-provoking studies.
I always dread back-to-school shopping when the purchases involve textbooks. My classes this year seem to only require one textbook each but they are still so expensive! The textbook companies really are making profits with these poor college students! The truth is however, I love buying stationary so that part of the shopping I enjoy.
I love to find cute notebooks, folders, and everything else essential to note-taking and homework.
This year I indulged myself with a Maybook. Are you familiar with maybooks? If not than you are about to get hooked on adorable notebook and you will thank me later!
These my friends are Maybooks:
How can you resist these bundles of joy?
May Books are extremely customizable. There are endless ways to make your Maybook special and unique.
I love all the May Books' Patterns and had such a hard time deciding on which notebook I wanted. The patterns differ from preppy ropes to trendy ikats.
I ended up with the pattern called Lets Bake Pink. I decided to make my notebook into a recipe notebook since I love to bake. That way I wouldn't just use it for school but for year-round.
When it arrived it came in a super cute chevron package with the words Yay on the front. Just getting the parcel made me happy.
I love my new recipe May Book. If you are wondering why I covered up the monogram with a tag its because I used my last name which I would rather not share (so you get the preview instead!). I think the quality of the book itself is really great. I chose a lined version so I could write all my recipes nice and easy.
In my sorority I am in the pink family and my big big big loves to bake. She recently graduated so I decided to order her the same book as I got (but with her name of course!). I think these books make such a great gift. They are small but personal and whenever I use mine I marvel at the design.
May Books has generously offered to give one Preppy Student follower a chance to win a May Book of their own!
What Maybook combination would you choose?
